hicks Marco Santana“From a marketing standpoint the press is your best friend, but you have to understand how to work with them and that the old classic textbook press release is irrelevant today,” announced Business Innovation Zone Executive Director Mike Colwell to an overflow audience at the March BIZ luncheon. “That’s why I asked these guys to come in, so that you might understand their perspective and learn from them,” he said by way of introducing Lynn Hicks and Marco Santana, Executive Business Editor and Tech/Entrepreneurship Writer respectively of the Des Moines Register.
